I started riding when I was 6 year olds on a little grey pony called Toffee. I became a member of Balnarring Pony Club where I was an active member competing regularly in Eventing, Dressage, Show Jumping, Showing and even the Games team. After I sold my Galloway Oliver I moved onto the families x-racehorse Billy, who I attended Pony Club on, until I was 21 year old. Because Billy was blind in one eye we specialized in Dressage. He has slowly made it up through the grades going from Grade 3 Pony Club to competing successfully at FEI. He has represented Australia in the Young Rider Trans Tasman team in New Zealand and has won many state championships as a Young Rider competing in Victoria, News South Wales and Queensland.
I currently compete on a range of horses from Preliminary to FEI on horses of my own and clients. The training process and each horse's individual personality, as they progress up the grades it is very rewarding. I enjoy riding young horses and ride for Dean Grass riding breakers. I am a member of Westernport Dressage Club where I have been President for 3 years. I am currently a school teacher at Toorak College and also teach at different Pony Clubs and Adult Riding Clubs. I am currently completing my NCAS and teach a range of people from children to adult's at all different levels. My goal is to be an Olympic rider!!!!

It’s been a busy couple of weeks with the lead up to ‘Dressage with the Stars’ with my FEI horse competing in the ‘PSG cup.’ This is a major event on the dressage calendar with riders coming from afar such as SA, NSW, QLD and TAS. To help with preparations we have had a few lead up events at Boneo Park and hope to be all set for the big event.
I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a clinic with a German trainer. She is a Grand Prix rider in Germany and also trains many riders at FEI. This was a very valuable experience and I hope to attend the clinic later in the year when she comes back over to Australia.
Congratulations to the two kids that I teach that competed at the Victorian State Pony Club Champs in dressage, they both were very successful and placed overall.
